In-Home Session
Marylou will come to your home for animal reiki treatments, she finds it best to work with the animal in their own space to maintain their level of comfort. When starting reiki it is preferred that the first session is in house so that Marylou may establish an in person connection. The first session is generally an hour, after session duration’s vary on a need basis.
Distant Session
Distance sessions offer the same benefits as in-home sessions, in fact sometimes they may be even preferable, depending on the animal’s temperament and condition. During a scheduled distant healing session Marylou will facilitate a meditative connection between herself and your animal. She will create a safe, healing space and invite your animal into it, in all of Marylou’s sessions it is up to the animal to accept the Reiki energy and decide what it is they need. The goal of a distant session is to give the animal the healing energy and comfort that they need to kick-start their own self healing ability. It is ideal for these sessions that you set up a quiet space for your animal and yourself to be able to experience the energy connection.
